Opensource hardware authentication

Any advising in deploying an open source server that does hardware authentication similar to that of RSA SecurID 700. Been googling the hell out of it but cannot find a decent solution the closes thing I found was wikid.com but is a paid solution.

Loopbooks in MAC

Ran into an issue today attempting to configure GNS3 for a routing lab. I was looking for a way to add another loopback interface on the mac. I did not find an answer. I attempted using ifconfig, but I get this error:

sudo ifconfig lo1 create
Password:
ifconfig: SIOCIFCREATE2: Invalid argument

Strange, the GUI does not support creating real interfaces, only virtual ones which is not good in binding with GNS3 because the appliciation wont detect it :-/ still stuck.

Content Management Systems

I have been looking to deploy a CMS on a city, as the web precense. The CMS will serve as a platform to post recent news events produced by the city. Furthermore the cms will be a point of information for citizens, business and visitors of the city. I was looking at two options, Joomla and Wordpress. I found that wordpress is a much easier install than Joomla and its as customazable. THe wordpress GUI platform also feels easier to operate and work with. If anyone has any advise on a similar solution pleae feel free to comment.

anyone would like to enlightenment on what CMS to use for a small city deployment, and if there is any other options aside from Joomla Drupal and Wordpress.

Crashing Chrome Shockwave Plug-In

I have been having an Issue lately with Google Chrome, it seems to be crashing the shock wave plug in. It pains me to see chrome crash seeing that I'm a big advocate of the browser and I recommend it to all my clients. The crash seems to occur when I have multiple tabs open with one of them sign-in to Gmail. When I start a youtube video upload for example the browser crashes. I tried search for possible causes but still nothing. If I find a solution I will post.
