I have been looking to deploy a CMS on a city, as the web precense. The CMS will serve as a platform to post recent news events produced by the city. Furthermore the cms will be a point of information for citizens, business and visitors of the city. I was looking at two options, Joomla and Wordpress. I found that wordpress is a much easier install than Joomla and its as customazable. THe wordpress GUI platform also feels easier to operate and work with. If anyone has any advise on a similar solution pleae feel free to comment.

anyone would like to enlightenment on what CMS to use for a small city deployment, and if there is any other options aside from Joomla Drupal and Wordpress.
